flow condition

i wonder if it makes sense to refactor from this:

public void someMethod(SomeClass someObject) {
    if(someObject != null){
        do something ...
    }
}
to this:
public void someMethod(SomeClass someObject) {
    if(someObject == null) return;
    do something ...
}
